Of Potomac Maryland, On Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Georgetown University Hospital Surrounded by her family following a brief illness.

Daughter of the late George C. and Stella H. Bernatz.

Beloved wife for 55 years of Patrick C. Ryan.

Loving mother of Dianne Thorndike (Eric), Colleen, Katie and Patrick Ryan

Grandmother of Meghan and Erin Thorndike

Sister of Charles G. Bernatz (Mary Lee) and Andrew J. Bernatz (Mary) and the late Gregory Bernatz

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She graduated from St. Martin’s  CatholicGrade School and GaithersburgHigh School (Class of 1958). Judy went on to work at the FBI until 1962.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church , 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, Maryland at 11:00AM

Interment to follow immediately after at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
