Martin Sean Godoy Nolan "Blue"

Martin Sean Godoy Nolan aka Blue, Age 21 entered eternal rest on January 14, 2021. He is survived by his father John Kevin Nolan of Rockville, MD, his loving brother Nicolas (Nico) M. Nolan of Monterey, CA, his grandparents Diane G. Nolan of Rockville MD, Rodolfo and Sara Godoy of Mar del Plata, Argentina and many aunts, uncles and cousins in the US and Argentina. His loving mother Claudia Godoy Nolan entered eternal rest in 2019.

He is remembered for his kindness, generously giving his time and love to everyone he encountered, particularly his gentleness with special needs students at his school. He brought out the best in every soul he touched. Martin was passionate for all sports especially basketball and soccer. He was happiest upgrading and showing his sonic blue 2014 Ford Focus ST stage 3 turbo with his many, many friends ultimately earning him the nickname “Blue.” Martin attended St. John the Baptist School, Garret Park Elementary School, Tilden Middle School and Walter Johnson High School.

Friends are invited to view, mourn and pray with his family on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 9705 Summit Avenue, Kensington, MD to be immediately followed at 11:00 a.m. by Mass of Christian Burial.

Mass attendance will be limited due to COVID restrictions.

Interment will be private.
