

Of Gaithersburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully of cancer at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Michael was born on April 16, 1953 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD.
He grew up in Kensington, MD, and was a graduate of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda. He lived much of his adult life in Gaithersburg. He owned Capitol Steam Cleaning for carpet and upholstery cleaning, repairs and flood restoration for over 30 years. He retired in 2019.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Linda S. Gargiulo, his son Justin T. Gargiulo, his brother William L. Gargiulo and his wife Virginia, Brother-in-law John L. Seitz, Jr., along with nieces, Kelly, Taylor, Cindy and Lacey, 4 great nieces, 2 great nephews and a host of other wonderful friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Ruby Gargiulo, his brother Daniel Gargiulo, Jr., father-in-law John L. Seitz, and mother-in-law Barbara H. Seitz.
Michael loved the outdoors, hunting ducks and geese in Texas, Canada and on the Eastern shore of Maryland. He loved building RC Cars, drones and helicopters. He will be missed by all!
A celebration of Michael’s life will not be held immediately due to the current circumstances of the recent pandemic. We are sorry to be without your friendship and comfort, but it is our sincere hope that we will have a service in the spring. Please check back at a later date for updated information.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Gift processing department.
