

Paul M. Campbell passed away in Washington, D.C. on September 28, 2024, at the age of 70. Paul was born on October 23, 1953, in Bayonne, NJ, to Denis and Agnes (Boyle) Campbell. He was one of nine children in a large Irish Catholic family.
Paul remained in New Jersey where he attended St. Peter's University earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Urban Studies. After graduation, he headed to D.C. attending Georgetown University where he obtained two Master of Science degrees in Accounting & Finance as well as Biostatistics. He remained local and was a proud Washington, D.C. resident for close to 50 years.
Paul was an avid reader who loved discussing politics and current events. He enjoyed traveling to new places and learning about different cultures. Known for his generosity, he was an exceptional listener, a great friend and volunteered his time to help others.
Professionally, Paul was renowned in shaping healthcare policy as a consultant representing pharmaceutical manufacturers and biotechnology firms. His expertise was recognized with myriad awards for strengthening companies’ public policy presence. At the time of his passing, Paul was actively engaged in consulting.
Paul's life was marked by academic excellence and professional achievement, but his greatest joy were his cherished daughters, Bridget and Annie. His love for them was immeasurable, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and growth. As a father, Paul was devoted and supportive creating lasting memories for his daughters.
He is survived by his daughters, Bridget Catherine and Annie Minton (mother, Nancy Harris) as well as his brothers Denis (Lois), John (Ruthellen), Gregory (Anne Marie), Thomas (Gail), Leo (Arlene), sister Patricia Lempa and brother-in-law James Richard. Paul also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that loved their Uncle dearly.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Denis and Agnes, his brother Eugene, his brother-in-law Paul Lempa, and his sister Maureen Richard.
A funeral mass will be held Friday October 11th at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Paul's memory are encouraged to make contributions to St. Peter's University in Jersey City, NJ, or Georgetown University Library in Washington, D.C.
