Paulette Jean McKenzie-Hamilton

Born on April 8, 1960 in May Pen Clarendon, Jamaica. She was the daughter of the late Charles McKenzie and Eslyn Peck-McKenzie. Paulette was a lifelong lover of numbers who turned that love into her profession and became an accountant. No unbalanced or unreconciled checkbook could survive around Paulette. She always pursued further education, supported multi-million dollar businesses, and would have been the consummate serial entrepreneur.

She has left behind her adored children attorney Patrice Barnett-Tisdale and US Army soldier Gregory Luke Hamilton, Jr., her adored siblings: Karen Williams, Jeanette McKenzie, Herbert McKenzie, Howard McKenzie, Christine McKenzie, Richard McKenzie, Karlene McKenzie, Andrew McKenzie, Avis McKenzie, Rebecca McKenzie, Evelyn McKenzie, Gertrude McKenzie, and her grandchildren David and Justin Tisdale.

Paulette will be remembered by many as a determined fighter, and protector, who would look past the misstep of others, and who without hesitation, would take the clothes off her back to provide for others.

She will be sorely missed by all.
