We regret to announce the passing of our loving sister, Penny, who died peacefully at home in Gaithersburg on 16 August 2025, aged 81, after bravely facing a recurrence of cancer.
Grateful for the full life she had lived, Penny chose not to seek further treatment, but to let go with quiet dignity.
We invite you to a memorial service on Thursday, 21 August at 12.00 noon, at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 E Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg. The gathering will be simple and personal, with a few reflections from family and friends, celebrating Penny’s life and spirit.
All who knew Penny are invited to join us. Please feel free to come just as you are—casual dress is entirely appropriate.
Flowers may be sent, or a donation made to a charity of your choosing, but neither is necessary. The truest tribute will be your presence, your smiles, and the happy memories you bring.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
