My dear Scott, you leave us with many questions, My prayer is that you have found the peace you were looking for.

To Scott's family: I remember Scott as a very engaging guy, and loyal to those he called his friends. May God grant you that peace which surpasses all understanding; may Scott's soul find its eternal rest.

I'll always remember you as the mischievous boy that you were in High School. You, Greg &, of course, David were always together & sometimes in trouble! ;) I'll also miss your random visits as an adult. We never seemed to run out of things to say. I'll just miss you!

Scott, I will never forget you. Without you I would not have made it through all of those crazy anatomy classes!! You always so selflessly helped me and others in the class learn the material well. You left your mark in our Southern hearts and it is obvious from the messages that you did that wherever life took you. My most heartfelt condolences to Scott's family. I wish that I had words that would comfort during this impossible time. Although it has been many years since I have seen Scott, I often think fondly of your friendship during our awkward junior high years and our cross country letters when we both moved away. Scott, you were and are my best and oldest friend. I'm infinitely grateful you sought me out and created our friendship in the treacherous nightmare known as the 7th grade. The hijinks, laughs, arguments, movies, music, and annoyances were all part of the unique funny-looking package. Your crazy yang to my cautious yin. A teetering complimentary relationship that I fondly cherish. Thanks for enabling me to meet your great family, friends, and especially Anne and Svea. I will always love you and I am so lucky to have had you in my life. Right now I'm questioning everything I know to be true which is ironic because if you were here I would be holding fast to my beliefs and you would be arguing with me so that I would question them.
