Thomas S. Tom Offutt

Thomas S. Offutt, 70, of North Potomac, MD, passed away on January 30, 2018, at Shady Grove Medical Center.  Born in Gaithersburg, MD, to the late Luretta and the late Walter Offutt, Tom attended St. Martin’s School and Gaithersburg High School.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland and his Master’s from Averett University.  Tom was a U.S. Air Force veteran.  He worked at Hughes Networks Systems, Oracle, and AT&T.  An avid golfer, Tom was a dedicated member of the Seniors Golf League at Hope Valley Golf Course.

Beloved life partner of 44 years of Debby Moody; cherished brother of John Offutt (Diane), Joseph Offutt (Sherry), and Peggy Bashaw; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents and six siblings.

Friends and family are welcome to come to Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Viers Mill Road, Rockville, MD, for a graveside service on Thursday, February 8 at 1:00 p.m.
