William Vinh Bui

William Vinh Bui, age 81, was born in Vietnam and came to America in 1984. He was an accomplished pilot in the South Vietnamese Air Force in his early life. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world — nothing could compare to the time he could spend with his family.

William was gentle-spirited, funny and witty. He loved listening to classic swing and jazz music and watching Western classic movies. A great friend to many, he was extremely kind-hearted and always welcomed others with open arms. He loved a good meal — and enjoyed cooking food for his grandchildren. He was always curious to keep up with the latest tech gear. His knowledge, guidance, and life experience was the foundation of his family.

William is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Annie; 4 daughters - Huong Nguyen, and husband Chin; Cindy Stanley and husband Michael S.; Jenny Bui; Irena Bui, and husband Michael P.; 6 grandchildren - Christine Nguyen-Scott, and husband Julian S., Calvin, Carly, Justine, Tiffany and Tommy; 1 great-grandson - Justice Scott; and 6 younger siblings. He is predeceased by one of his younger brothers.
