
Anthony Saxon, 58, of Hardeeville, S.C. died Saturday March 19, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Ridgeland, S.C. and was employed by Republic Waste. He was an investigator for Rudolph Murdaugh, a former Police Officer for the City of Hardeeville, and a member of the Marine Rescue Squadron. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and he coached football for years.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Sally Woods Saxon and a granddaughter, Shelby Saxon.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Saxon of Hardeeville, S.C.; 2 sons, Shannon Saxon (Valerie) and Aaron Saxon (Crystal) both of Hardeeville, S.C.; Father, Thomas E. Saxon, Sr.; 2 brothers, Danny and Tommy Saxon; 1 sister, Diane Richardson and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation: 6 – 8 pm Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Fairhaven Funeral Home 2794 U.S. Hwy 80 West Garden City, Ga. 31408.
Graveside Service: 11:00 am Wednesday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery in Ridgeland, S.C.
