Darthy "Dee" Deason Byrd

Darthy “Dee” Byrd, 67, of Pooler died Tuesday, August 05, 2014 at her home under the care of Gentiva Hospice.

She was born in Millen, Ga to Neal Edward Deason (deceased) and Grace Wilson Deason (deceased) and was a retired employee of Gulfstream.

Survivors include her daughter Jackie “Dooley” Lee (Russell), her sister Patricia Daniels, three brothers Darvin Deason (Adella), Bo Deason, and Charles Edwards Deason (Eloise); granddaughter Deanna Love (Matt); two grandsons, R.J. Lee and Robert Lee; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and two of her best friends Bobbie Jo and Rusty Hendrix.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the care that they gave.
