

She was born on February 22, 1928 and grew up in Bulloch County, GA. Granny as she was affectionately called by so many was a homemaker who was deeply loved and respected. She loved and cared for her own children, their families and many extended families she touched. Although she was not wealthy as man would define wealth, she was truly blessed. She was a member of the Meldrim Baptist Church.
Ed Kniphfer was the love of her life. They were married in Pembroke, GA in November, 1947.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Winnie L. Bryant and Walter Bryant, her brother James Bryant, her husband Ed Kniphfer.
Surviving are her children: Krenson K. Kniphfer (Patti) of Oliver, GA; Gloria Chapman (Stevie) of Bloomingdale, GA; Donald Kniphfer (Sally) of Eden, GA; Deborah Witt (Joe) of Faulkville, GA; Teresa Godwin of Eden, GA; Jenny Santiago (Eric) of Brooklet, GA; Eddie Kniphfer (Elaine) of Eden, GA; K. Waring Kniphfer (Melissa) of Eden, GA; Connie Jiran (Pat) of Faulkville, GA; and Kay Anaya of Eden, GA.
Granny had 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother in law, and three sisters in laws and several cousins.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct 27, 2014 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Meldrim Baptist Church, in Meldrim, GA, with interment in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, 1600 Wheaton Street, Savannah, GA 31404.
