George W. Gasser

He retired after 34 years from IBM Corporation as a Customer Service Engineer. He loved his family and cat, Buttons, enjoyed the outdoors, computers, billiards, and could fix anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Laura Gasser.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vilma Willis Gasser of Rincon, Ga.; one son, George Russell Gasser (Lisa) of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Terri Eddy (Bill) of Rincon, GA. and Susan Holloway (Edward) of Rincon, GA.; one granddaughter, Jessica (Jason), and eight grandsons, John, Brian, Matthew, Braelen, Devin, Cullen, Adam and Jared; two great-grandchildren, Travis and Taylor;; and sister Arlene Groul.

Visitation: 1:00 pm Saturday June 25, 2011 at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Bob Rogers to Officiate. Entombment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West.
