He was born in Savannah, where he lived most of his life, and was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by 2 brothers and five sisters, Diane, Danny, Deborah, Denise, Durand, Derrene ,Dell and several nieces and nephews.
