

He was born in Emanuel County, Ga., and was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Portwood Flanders.
He was associated with the Holy Church of God for over 58 years, and was a member of the Senior Men’s Bible Class.
He was retired from Union Camp Paper Corporation after 42 years of service, as Assistant Fire Chief. He was an avid Fisherman, and enjoyed Traveling and Gardening.
He is survived by two daughters, Janice Flanders Davis (J. C.), of Garden City, Ga; and Nancy Flanders Gunter (Wayne) of Richmond Hill, Ga; 2 brothers, J. Allen Flanders (Myrtle) of Garden City, Ga; Emory Flanders, (Inez), of Orlando, Fla; 3 sisters, Dorothy Stalnaker, Savannah, Ga; Reba Barrett and Sara Berry (John) both of Orlando, Fla, 2 grandchildren, Debra Gadomski (Mike), and Clinton Davis (Becky), and 3 great grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Jesse Davis, and Alan Mikol Gadomski, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 4 – 8 p.m. Sunday at the Holy Church of God.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Monday at the Holy Church of God, with Rev. Ryan Ralston, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery, at 3 p.m.
