Preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Armilla Coffey. Survived by his sister Linda Coffey McKenzie; cousins, Becky & Mark Valentine and Evelyn & Hal Dale; and former wife, Nancy Coffey.
Joseph was a graduate of the Benedictine High School Class of 1969, a graduate of Armstrong College, a member of the American Legion Post 36, Thunderbolt, GA. and a member of the Catholic faith.
Visitation: Friday, January 28, 2011 from 1 – 2 PM at the funeral home with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Fairhaven Chapel.
