Survived by his wife Emma Sylvia Sykes, of 48 years, children; Darlene Sykes, James & Selina Cribbs, Sandra & Shorty Hollingsworth, Kenneth & Lori Sykes, Samantha Causey, Larry Joe Sykes, Michelle & Danny Johnson, Wayne & Robin Sykes and Larry Milton Jr. Grandfather of 20 and Great-Grandfather of many. Siblings; Joseph William & Lola Sykes, James Everett & Mary Sykes, Joann Morton and Jody Sykes.

Visitation: Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 4 – 7 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral Service: Monday, April 11, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the Fairhaven Chapel.

Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery, Greenwich Section.

Pall Bearers: Stephen Sykes, Kenneth Sykes, Jr., Jason Cribbs, James Cribbs, Jr., Rusty Woods, & Robbie Johnson.
