Survived by his wife of 56 years Sandra S. Rice. Father of Lee Ann Todd (James), Cindy Southerland (Chris), Sherry Pearce (William Powell) and Cathy Forehand (Max). Brother of Charlie Matthew Rice, Jr. (Carlene).
Grandfather of eight and Great Grandfather of nine.
Visitation: Tuesday, 6 – 8 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at 11:00 AM in the Fairhaven Chapel.
Entombment: Hillcrest Abbey West.
