

Robert Odum, 84, of Savannah passed away April 18, 2012 after a brief illness. He was born in Fitzgerald, GA but resided in Jacksonville, FL for fifty years before moving to Savannah about ten years ago. While living in Jacksonville, he attended the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Sunday School Class. He was also a barber and a merchant. He served our country in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys Carver Odum; a stepmother, Melba Odum Thompson; three brothers, JW Odum, Thurston Odum, and John Harold Odum Merritt; and one sister, Arlie Odum Phillips.
He is survived by three brothers, Larry Odum, Allen Turner, and Gerald Odum (Freida); and one niece, Shirley Peters (Bud); and one great-niece, Linda Peters McLaughlin.
A visitation will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel on Friday from 6-8 pm with Funeral Services on Saturday at 11 am at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.

Burial will be at Effingham Memorial Gardens
