Mr. Timothy L. Reid

Tim graduated from Windsor Forest High School and went on to attend Savannah State University. He joined the United States Navy on August 26, 1987. He received numerous honors and medals as well as obtained his medical training as a certified Surgical Technician.

He began his career as a Surgical Technician in 1993 at the Veteran Hospital in Allen Park and later transitioned to the John D. Dingell VAMC where he served as a true pillar in his profession providing an enormous amount of knowledge and expertise to our veterans and his colleagues unconditionally.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Mary, his mother; Marvette Reid-Turner, sister; Tammera Reid, sister (deceased); Trina Reid-Easterling, sister; Lawana Reid-Fraiser, sister; Adrian Reid, brother; Anisha Reid, sister; and a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves to cherish and honor his memory his John D.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
