Wayne Probus

He was also member of Greenwood Forest Baptist Church of Cary NC. He was born in Millwood, KY on May 25, 1954. The Grayson County native was the son of Hardin Probus and Margaret Dermitt, who preceded him in death. He was survived by three daughters- Mindy Amerson of Pooler GA, Cindy Loadholt (Chad) of Garden City GA and Amanda Probus and her fiancé Nathan Redford of Cary NC, four grandchildren- Heather Wasdin, Tyler and Colin Amerson, and Chandler Loadholt. He was especially proud of his grandchildren.

He was also survived by one sister-Terri Gibson of Lewisport, KY; one nephew- Dwayne Clark (Vicki) of Brownsville, KY and their children (Kayla, Kelcy, and Keaton); one niece- Lisa Miller of Caneyville, KY and her children (Kendrea, Kourtney, Savannah), and her granddaughter Isabella.

He was kind-hearted, generous, and extremely loving. Throughout his life Wayne enjoyed fishing, basketball, attending church, and most of all spending time with family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Time: 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Garden City.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah, GA.
