

Aylmer Mario was born on September 28, 1966, in the Philippines to Jose and Lourdes Mario. In 1979, he immigrated with his family to Southern California, where he spent the rest of his life surrounded by faith, family, and friendship.
Aylmer attended Golden West Community College, where he also worked as an interpreter for the deaf. He later earned a certificate in accounting and worked as an accountant and office manager for various companies, including TRW (now Experian).
Raised in the Catholic faith, Aylmer lived a life grounded in service, love, and spiritual strength. He shared his faith with others by serving as a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fountain Valley, California.
Despite numerous health challenges, including surviving a coma, Aylmer faced every battle with tenacity and grace. His strong will, deep faith, and love for others inspired everyone around him.
On June 6, 2025, Aylmer passed away peacefully at a hospital in Newport Beach, California, due to complications from his long-standing health conditions. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Lourdes Mario.
Aylmer is lovingly remembered by his siblings and a host of extended family members and cherished friends.
He will be forever cherished for his compassion, humor, faith, and quiet strength.
A prayer service for Aylmer will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dimond & Shannon Mortuary, 10630 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840.
A funeral service will occur Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 8345 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92646.
A graveside service will occur Monday, June 23, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Good Shepherd Cemetery And Mausoleum, 8301 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647.
