He was employed by United Central Bank of California, Cerritos Branch as a bank teller. In the Philippines, he did on the job training with Netgames Inc., a subsidiary of PLDT. He was in his final year of taking a bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, at Informatics Philippines when their visa numbers for migration to the USA came up for processing. A couple of months after migrating to California, he was interviewed and accepted to work at the bank and has been with them for a year. Christian was a passionate hardworking team-player who always gave his best in life, love, work, and everything else. He loved playing tennis, PC and online video games. He would play games with his siblings who were in Abu Dhabi, and Manila just so that they could have time to bond even while thousands of miles away from each other. He also made a lot of friends online in the process. In any game he would always fill the role of a "tank". This is often as a warrior who goes in the frontline to take the damage from opposing teams and allow his team-mates to support him and shield them from harm. He was also like this in real life. He always protected and shielded everyone to the best of his abilities. Always taking care of others, making them happy and doing whatever he can to make others smile.
He is survived by his Mom and Dad, Aquilina "Lyn" and Edgardo "Nick" Nicolas. His siblings: Jasper and Angel, Vincent and Precious, Layla, Bjorn, Ailene, and Fatimae; his girlfriend, Kristine; his Aunts and Uncles, and all his cousins. His friends here in California, from the bank where his second family will greatly miss him, his friends and buddies from college, high school, and elementary school who all have shared fond memories with him.
We all send our love to him and are joined in the hope that he and all of us will be well. We entrust him to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
