I don't have any pictures or bideos remembering Darla but I do have memories of hoe kind and accepting she and her family were to me and my family. All those occasions with barbecues at her house and the generosity of her and her family to include her sisters and her Mom. RIP Darla your with your Mom.

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to the whole family.  Praying that the Lord of Comfort and Grace give you all extra strength and extra grace during this trying time.  Let us take solace in the fact that we will see our dearly departed once again in God’s heavenly and beautiful place which has no end.  This is not our final resting place. We extend our condolences to Darla's family.

Darla worked at the Hapag-Lloyd office in Long Beach as a Manager responsible for the Imports department. I worked with her for nearly 5 years between 2005 and 2009.

What impressed me most about her is that besides being an excellent Manager, Darla was kind-hearted, smart and a good human being.
She always got the job done for which I was able to depend on her.
Her colleagues and the Senior management of the company knew of her capabilities, spoke positively about the wonderful person she was and her excellent performance.

I became aware in November 2022 while on a phone call with Darla that she was unwell and was quite shocked but did not realize that the end was so near.
It is extremely sad to see her go so soon. She will be missed.

Her Soul is at Peace.

My husband and I first heard Breezin when they played in Laughlin. I met Darla for the first time there. She was very sweet. After that every time we saw each other at Breezin gigs it was natural to catch up on life. I will miss her laugh, it was joyful! Heaven gained a beautiful Angel. Love Maria❤️

My heart is hurting for Darla’s family and friends.  Darla welcomed me into the Breezin family as well as her own more than 33 years ago with open arms.  
From there we had fun drinking, listening to Breezin and sharing family triumphs and tribulations.  
I will always cherish our talks and texts.  The last couple of years was mostly texting and keeping positive thoughts of her battle to live.  She will be missed.

Frank and Darla are more than just neighbors - they are family to the Alanas. We have had many fun times together dating back to well before we had wrinkles and when we all had full heads of hair. I loved Darla's willingness to try new things with me. I enjoyed having her go with me to different events because she was so easy going and laughed at my silly comments. Darla was a wonderful hostess, always remembering what desserts and wine I like. When my cherished 19 year old puppy passed, Darla gave me the most beautiful thoughtful gift in memory of Lili. Darla adores and cherishes her children, raising three amazing adults. She is loving and caring to her babies Noah and Leia. Her closeness with her sisters is something I have always admired. Seeing Frank and Darla together was always like watching two high school teens with their first love...because they were. Darla and I have stayed in touch regularly via text throughout Darla's illness. She would never complain, just give me updates and chat.  I was looking forward to the day she would join us to watch Breezin play again. I know she will always be by her man as an Angel in Heaven, just like she was his Angel on earth. Darla - you will never be forgotten. Cruz and Golvea family, you have our most sincere condolences for your loss. Gone way too soon. Aloha, the Alanas
