Born July 23, 1930 in Buffalo,NY, she was the youngest daughter of Walter and Ethel Peters. She grew up during the Great Depression. Her brother served in the Army during WWll.
Dolores graduated from Bowling Green State University, Ohio in 1952 with a B.S. in Business Admin./Accounting, and was active in Kappa Delta sorority. Dolores and Jack moved to Garden Grove in 1956, where they raised their 5 children. The family enjoyed annual camping trips to Bass Lake and Canyon Lake where everyone enjoyed boating, swimming, and water skiing.
In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Dolores was very involved at St. Columban School where their children attended. She also worked with Jack in his insurance business. In 1979 she became the secretary to the Dean of Nursing at Cal State Fullerton until she retired in 1993. Dolores was a one-of-a-kind woman and a role model to all of us. She will be
dearly missed but we were blessed to have her in our lives, and she will be in our hearts forever.
