Elizabeth Gross

Elizabeth (Liz) Gross, 78, of Garden Grove, CA passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 9th, 2015. Elizabeth, daughter of Charles and Martha Pratt (both deceased) was born in Lancaster, OH. Elizabeth started her working life as a baker for Mrs. Chapman’s Angel Food Donuts and finished as a Deli Service Manager for Market Basket/Von’s Supermarkets as a proud member of Local Retail Clerks Union 324. She enjoyed spending time with her family above all else, reading and entering Publisher’s Clearing House contests, doing her part in trying to win millions to make all our lives easier. She was especially devoted to family, both near and far.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Gross of the family home,

two sons and their families: Vern Sparkman (Pam), E. Rochester, NH & daughter Kelli Pinard (Don) Fremont, NH,

Don Sparkman (Andrea) & daughter Jennifer, Las Vegas, NV. Also survived by three daughters and their families: Deborah Sparkman Marzano (Dominic) Kirkland, WA & grandson Anthony Marzano (Tina) great-grandsons Dylan & Dalton, all of Valdosta, GA, Vincent Marzano (Amy) of Bitberg, Germany, granddaughter Nikki Marzano, great-grandsons Austin & Tyson Bivins and great-granddaughter Victoria Bivins, all of North Bend, WA. Jeri Sparkman McGlone (David), granddaughter Brooke Watt, grandsons Shawn Watt, Kyle & Cory McGlone of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Melinda Peloquin (Ernie) of Lake Forest, CA. three grandsons: Anthony Pulcini (Heather) of Albuquerque, NM, Cole & Brett Peloquin, also of Lake Forest, CA. Also survived by her two sisters: Carolyn Brown (Ray) of Collinsville, AL and Rosemary Kyle of Athens, AL, numerous nieces, nephews and all those who considered themselves part of her extended family.
