John Virgo

Virgo, John passed away on Thursday, the 26th of November 2015 at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Muriel Agnes Virgo, son John Michael Virgo, mother Caroline Wakefield, father Henry Virgo, six sisters, three brothers, daughter-in-law Laureen, and son-in-law Mark Hamilton. Born in London, England, John was a Corporal in the British Army. He served in combat with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers through the Italian and African Campaigns during 1940-1946. He was also a restaurant owner, carpenter and owner of the family-operated Virgo Family Swim School.

John is survived by his daughters Angela Victoria , Barbara Ann, Donna Marie, son Collin Anthony (Christy), daughter-in-law Katherine Sue, granddaughters Debra Marie (Edward), Alicia Ann Marie, grandsons Collin John (Victoria), Ryan Daniel, Brandon Wayne Hamilton (Molly), Justin Christopher Hamilton, Nathaniel Aaron Hamilton, great grandsons Adam Edward Riekstins, Troy Michael Riekstins, Eli Collin, Matthew Lawrence Hamilton, and great granddaughter Katrina Marie Riekstins.

Services will take place on Wednesday, December 2nd at 5:00pm at Dimond & Shannon Mortuary.
