Pamela Gail Salamun

Pamela Gail Salamun, age 78, of Garden Grove, California passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was born in Hasting, Nebraska to Roy and Bonnie Strong. She moved to California with her parents when she was young. Pamela attended and graduated from St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, CA. She later attended Dental Assistant School.

Pam met her husband Roy, in 1964, at Camp Pendleton, CA, where Roy was stationed. They married in 1965. She welcomed five daughters with Roy, Penny, Peggy, Renee’, Jenine and Angela. Throughout her life, she had seven dogs.

Pam was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and women of God. She was a dedicated Catholic. Some of her hobbies included reading, canvas painting, sewing, decorating cakes, gardening and she never missed an Angel Baseball Game.

Pam is remembered as a selfless, patient, compassionate, humble and inspirational person, all who knew and loved her will miss her.

Pamela is survived by her husband Roy Salamun, her brother, Tim Strong who is also Godson, her daughters, Penny Salamun , Peggy Breeland, Renee’ Mosely, Jenine Sanchez and Angela Salamun . Her grandchildren, Amber Rivera, Samantha Mosely, Jacob Mosely, Abegale Mosely, Kara Mosely and her Godchildren, Tim Strong, Colleen Strong, Amanda Gilley.

A visitation for Pamela will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dimond & Shannon Mortuary, 10630 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840. A funeral mass will occur Monday, December 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Columban Catholic Church, 10801 Stanford Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840. A reception will occur Monday, December 16, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, 10630 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840.
