Roman Romano Constandse, 88, of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 20, 2021. He was born on January 18, 1933 in Mexico City. When he was young his family lived in Villahermosa, Tabasco. As a young man he worked as a surveyor for an oil company in Mexico and during his travels for work he met Antonia whom he would marry in 1957. In the early 60’s he decided to join his brother in the United States so he moved his family who then would have grown to include three daughters. It was always his desire to return to Mexico someday. In 1992, he made it a reality and moved to Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo. He enjoyed living there and working at Xcaret. After his wife passed away in 2000, he continued to live in Puerto Aventuras but it wasn’t the same without her so in 2005 he moved back to the United States and spent his time living with each of his three daughters. He was a big baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Dodgers and the Astros, but he also enjoyed watching college and professional football games. He tried not to miss his favorite game show -- The Price is Right and enjoyed watching other game shows as well. He is survived by his three daughters Laura, Donna and Lulu and his six grandchildren David, Anthony, Andrew, Daniel, Alex and Denise.
