Thomas John Hernandez Sr.

Our Beloved Tom Hernandez, 78 of Apple Valley, CA passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 with his family by his side. Tom, always made each day worth while. His infectious laugh and wonderful back rubs and hugs will truly be missed! We find peace knowing that he has finally joined the love of his life Rosa (Rosie) in Heaven after all of these years. Tom served in the Army National Guard and also worked for the Sanitation Department for the city of Riverside as a trash man for many years. Tom is survived by his loving children Gloria Maynard (Don), Irma Hernandez, Tommy Hernandez Jr. (Reynalda) and Francisco Hernandez, 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great grandchild due in December, many nephews, nieces, friends and siblings in Mexico. To you Tom, this isn't good-bye, it's "see you later!"

A visitation will be held in Tom's honor at Dimond & Shannon Mortuary 10630 Chapman Ave., Garden Grove, CA 92840 on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 4-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 400 W. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton, CA 92832 at 11AM with a Graveside Service to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, CA
