Mary is survived by her husband, Norman Johnson; her son Jamal M. Johnson (Nicole); and her son Derrick M. Johnson (Diana); her brother Thomas Smith, Jr., her brother Michael Smith, her brother Lawrence Smith, her sister Linda Smith, her brother Alonso Brown and her sister Kathy Brown-Dozier.

Mary, leaves 5 grandchildren and a large host of family and friends.

A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, July 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions, 1016 W. 164th St., Gardena, CA 90247. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 1016 W. 164th St., Gardena, CA 90247. A reception will occur Monday, July 28, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 1016 W. 164th St., Gardena, CA 90247.
