A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Jesse and Fannie Angley.
He is survived by his brother, Blair Angley.
A funeral service will be heldat 2pm Wednesday at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Kim Higgins officiating.
Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery.
The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
