Carolyn Hoffman Perkins

A native of Gaston county, she was the daughter of the late William and Elsie Hoffman.

Mrs. Perkins was a member of Promised Land Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Perkins, Jr.; sons, Robert Perkins, Bryan Perkins and wife Sally; daughter, Phyllis Kubek and husband Joe; brothers, Bill Hoffman and wife Virginia, Eugene Hoffman and wife Katie; sister-in-law, Linda Hoffman; grandchildren, Sherrie Perkins, Danielle Perkins and Bryan Cathey; and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Adrian William Cathey; brother, Gerald Hoffman; and sister-in-law, Shirley Hoffman.

A graveside service will be held 3pm Thursday at Gaston Memorial Park in the War Memorial I Section with Pastor Harold Blankenship officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perkins.
