Craig "Pud" Scott Myers

Craig Scott "Pud" Myers, 33, of York South Carolina passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 29, 2022. Craig was a devoted father. He regularly attended his son’s sporting events. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. He was a hard worker and many will miss him.

His father, Roy Eugene Myers, and a brother, Greg Myers, precede Pud in death.

Pud leaves behind two young sons – Austin Myers, age 10 and Grayson Myers, age five. His mother, Donna (Poteet) Myers and his four siblings also survive him. He leaves behind his sisters Amie Blake and Courtney Dean and her husband Derek and his brothers, Jeremy Myers and his wife Lisa and Sam Blake and his wife Nara. His extended family also grieves his loss.

A service celebrating the life of Pud will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday June 3, 2022 at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 5323 Union Road, Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the church before the service beginning at 11:00 AM. Pastors Justin Schultz and Richard Brown will offer words of encouragement and hope to family and friends that gather to remember Pud.

Burial will follow the Celebration of Life Service at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 1774 Filbert Highway, Clover, South Carolina. Jeremy Myers, Derek Dean, Ethan Melton, Tony Campbell, Hunter Donaldson and Jr. Partain will be the pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Pud’s name to Sandy Plains Baptist Church.
