Diana Marguerite Amador Quinones

Diana M. Quinones, 74, of Gastonia passed away Thursday March 2, 2017. Diana enjoyed reading, watching her great-grandchildren and traveling. She worked for many years for the J.C. Penny Company and she most recently retired from Gaston Electronics. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Diana was born in Jerome, Arizona to Carmen and Jesus Amador. She is preceded in death by her father.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Paul E. King and Daniel Quinones, her mother Carmen Amador and her sister Victoria and husband Alan Baer. Diana was loved and will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Funeral Mass for Diana will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 708 St. Michaels Lane, Gastonia.

A rosary will be said in Diana’s honor at 7:00 PM on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.

Graveside and interment will be held following the mass at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations are made in Diana’s name to St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gastonia.
