A native of Gaston county, she was the daughter of the late William and Janie Haynes.
She is survived by her sons, Boyce Moody, David Moody (Phyllis); grandsons, Todd Moody (Jennifer Smalley), Sean Moody (Dana); great grandchildren, Aiden, Keigan and Kendilyn Moody.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Moody.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm Saturday at Gaston Memorial Park with Rev. Ron Watts officiating.
