Fred H. Lee, 70, went to be with his Lord on Thursday November 29, 2018 at the Levine Dickson Hospice House, in Huntersville, surrounded by his loving family. Fred’s family was his pride and joy. Fred served his country in the United States Army. He had a beautiful smile and he loved to laugh. He was constantly joking and playing pranks on people. He was outgoing and he never met a stranger. Fred could fix nearly anything. Professionally Fred was a production engineer for Compton Inc., but Fred has many side interests including remodeling, a tree service and doing taxes.

Fred loved God and he taught Sunday school, lead a cell group and he occasionally lead Wednesday night services at his church. He regularly visited the sick in the hospital, at rehabilitation facilities and at nursing homes. Fred was a regular at Cracker Barrel and R.O.’s BBQ. Fred will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Fred was born in Buncombe County and is the son of the late Eloise (Truett) and Joseph Alvin Lee.
