The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gaston Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Whidden officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Lee Davis. He is survived by his loving mother and caretaker Barbara Ray Davis, sister Dawn Benson, special aunts Kay Hammonds and Betty Whidden, and friends Ruth Caulder, Tammy Coker, and Charlene Grindle.
