Jennings was a woodworker and he enjoyed making furniture and repairing things. He was also a beekeeper.
Left behind to cherish the memories and legacy of Jennings are his three daughters: Wanda Cashion and her companion, Benny Millwood; Donna Leming and her husband Billy and Debbie Postell; five brothers; Sam Hall, Isaac Hall, Alvin Hall, John Hall and E.L. Hall; two sisters; Evelyn Barnes and Maye Mathis; four grandchildren; Heather Cashion, Jason Postell and his wife Jennifer, Julia Leming and Justin Parsons and his wife Keya; eight great-grandchildren; Katrina, Lily, and Nicholas Wiggins; Mylan Davidson; Jalen and Preston Parsons and his fiancée Brittany Humphries and Zach and Lance Postell; one great-great granddaughter, Harper Charlie Parsons.
Jennings was the son of the late Ralph Hall and Della Sutton Hall.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Susie (Hudson) Hall and his great-grandchild, Raishon Peterman.
The family will receive guests from 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM, Monday ~ November 25, 2019 at Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina.
A Life Well Celebrated Ceremony will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Carothers Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Overton offering words of comfort and hope to Jennings’ family and friends.
Graveside and committal services will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, North Carolina.
