Jessie James Cribb, 69, passed away May 13, 2015. Jessie was very active in church where he was a former Pastor, taught Sunday school and loved to lead music in the church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman of fish and men.
He is survived by four children; Rebecca Dover and husband, Dwayne, Kelly Smith, Eddie Cribb and wife, Christy, Jessie James Cribb, Jr.; 12 siblings; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Calvin Cribb and Louise (Bellamy) Cribb.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 15 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park.
