Jim was loved by his family, including his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved his family with all of his heart. Jim loved to fish, hunt and spend time with family and friends.
Jim worked as the General Manager at Scott Clark Toyota. Jim had an extended family in the automotive business where he held many roles including boss, coworker, friend, leader, teacher and companion. He had a desire to push those who worked alongside him to be their best.
Jim had a strong presence and a commanding personality with a kind heart and an even sweeter soul. All who knew and loved him are grateful for the time they got to spend with him. Jim never met a stranger and was always unusually generous.
Most of all, Jim loved God. In his last days, he told his wife he needed to ‘Let God do his work!’ God’s miracles are still working through him every day in those that knew and loved him.
Jim is preceded by his father Guy Cline, son Logan Cline and grandparents.
Jim is survived by his wife of 24 years, Gina Cline; sons, Kalin Cline and fiancée Katelyn Goins and Branin Cline and fiancée Lindy Mott; daughter, Camrin Cline; grandchildren, Mason Cline, Kinley Cline, and Jace Cline; mother, Linda Norville; brothers, Tim Cline and wife Karen and Gary Cline and wife Jamie; sister, Angie Hoyle and many nieces, nephews and their children.
Please join us to celebrate Jim’s life at 12:30 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 in the auditorium at Elevation Church - Lake Norman, 8325 Copley Drive, Cornelius, NC 28031.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm in the lobby of Elevation Church Lake Norman. Jim’s love and connection with so many people is a true blessing. The family has extended visitation to allow time to talk with all who knew and loved him and to allow time for guests to eat a meal nearby before attending the service.
