John David Kiser

Gastonia – John David Kiser, 65, of Gastonia died April 19, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late John Willard and Helen Lucile Huey Kiser.

Mr. Kiser was a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri Mercer Kiser; sons, Michael Shane Kiser and wife, Brandy of Gastonia, David Shawn Kiser and wife, Christy of Gastonia, Roy Brannon Moore and wife, Valerie of Gastonia, Barry Jason Moore and wife, Stacey of Cramerton; eight grandchildren, Katie, Cameron, Lauren, Sarah, Katelyn, Will, Nick and LeAnna.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Yorkwood Church of God with Phillip Coe, Rev. Andy Nicholson and Rev. Joel Shirley officiating. Entombment will be at Gaston Memorial Park in the Mausoleum of Peace with military honors provided by the United States Army and the World War II Last Man Club.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
