To the family of Johnny Sams,  Where have the years gone?  I remember, so well, the Sams and the Corn families in the community where we all grew up.  It saddens me to read where another "past" friend has passed. Back in the days....all of the people in our little community were close. Please accept our deepest condolences in the loss of Johnny.

Brenda and family, I am so sorry for your loss. We all grew up in the same neighborhood and Granny Corn kept me when Mother worked and the corn family was like my true family, I will always cherish the memories of your family. I received a Christmas card from Johnny until about 2 years ago. I always sent him one. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a delightful person, and a wonderful neighbor.  I always called him my guardian angel after two men tried to break in the parsonage while I was home one day.  Mr. Sams saw thew whole thing and came over to check on me.  He will always be a hero to me for that act of kindness.  May God bless your family.
