A good, dynamic man and highly motivated person… A family man who adored his wife, his mother, his children and grandchildren… These words speak volumes of Joseph James Haburjak who passed away at the age of 72 on March 2, 2016 from the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, North Carolina. Joseph was a financial planner successfully helping individuals with estate and retirement planning… Joe was former CFO and COO for several companies and a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he excelled in playing football. Joe was also a great fan of football and basketball. Having a good balance with work and family he loved traveling and living on the lake.
He was the son of the late Joseph Haburjak and Elizabeth Bazar Haburjak.
Those left to cherish the memories of Joseph are his wife of 28 ½ years: Karen Christensen Haburjak of Lake Wylie; daughter and significant other: Catherine Scott and Matt Gaertner of Charlotte, North Carolina; son and daughter in law: David W. Haburjak and Amy Dimmer of Belmont, North Carolina; two brothers: William J. Haburjak and companion Merry-Lynn Zimmerman of Rio Vista, California and Richard G.
