Michael is survived by his loving wife, Joann Freeman of Gastonia, NC; five siblings, Jeffery Freeman (Jennifer) of Iron Station, NC and Kenneth Freeman, Martha Davis (Dennis) of Lancaster, SC, Glenda Forbes of Lancaster, SC and Rhonda Alverson (Johnnie) of Louisburg, NC; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia. Travis Freeman will preside. Interment will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
