Robert Jordon Bolick

Robert Jordon “Jordy” Bolick, age 24, of Gastonia died Thursday September 2, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville SC. He was a native of Gaston County and the son of Cynthia Bolick Knight of Gastonia.

Mr. Bolick was a member of First Baptist Church in Lowell, and a graduate from East Gaston High School class of 2006. He was a Sixth Degree Black Belt and trained at Ryan Hoovers School of Karate.

He is survived by his mother; Cynthia Bolick Knight of the home, a sister; Taylor Danielle Knight of the home, maternal grandmother and step grandfather Elaine B. and Terry A. Dilling Lowell, step father and step mother Scotty D. and Virginia Knight of Fountain Inn, S.C, Step brother; Dillon Rumer and step sister; Brittany Miller both of Fountain Inn, SC, paternal step grandparents; Billy and Gail Knight of Jonesboro Ark. aunt and uncle; Angie and Randy Howell of Lowell, uncle and aunt Mark and Rachel Knight of Jonesboro, Ark. and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Robert T. Bolick, maternal great grandparents; Leroy and Ivey Broome, paternal great grandparents Robert L. and Dorothy Bolick

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church in Lowell with the Rev. Ken Cobb and Dr. David Irish officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

The Family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 PM Saturday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
