Truly no words to express the heartache that we all are feeling. So sad to have to say goodbye to a wonderful father, brother, cousin and best friend you could have ever asked for. He will be forever in my heart as well as so many others who were blessed to have known such a great person. Peace will come from knowing I will get to see you again and have you play me “Stairway To Heaven “. Lots of love to my favorite cuz was our little saying as we would part ways but that will never change for I will never forget you and what you meant to me and our family. XOXO

My Dad is an incredible person, who I am still refusing to accept is gone. I need him so much. I have so many memories of Him, and the songs we sang, the waffle house trips we would take at 3 A.M. and at 7 P.M. , the random times you'd wake us up, and we'd be tired and complain, but I was so excited, cause we'd drive to some place and just be there a couple hours, and you'd tell us about it. I loved when I didn't have school, you'd take me with you to Winston Salem, and we'd stop for food, and then we'd jam out to music the whole time, and when we'd go into stores, people would look at me, and say I was a miniature you, or that I look like you, and that made me happy, because I wanted to be you. You always talked to me, or I would walk into a room, and I would hug you, and you'd accept it, and we'd just sit there, sometimes we talked, other times, I knew that you just needed a hug. I played Go Rest High On That Mountain, and one day, I will mean the words, but right now, your work on Earth isn't done, because we still need you. I love you Dad 

Scott was more than a friend he was a brother. When you needed help and a smile he was there. He is the reason I learned to play the bass and loved playing with him. I know you are home now but I miss you.  I'll. see you later and we will play for the Lord, amen. 

Scott you were like a son to me, I think about you and Joe back in the day when y'all thought you were  ( Guns an Roses )  ..lol... such sweet memories,  I think about the last time I saw you, you came down to visit and played the guitar for me. I love you,  and know I'll see you in heaven.  Be tuned up and ready.

You were more than a friend to us. You were a brother and son. You made us laugh and cry. You protected me as a brother. We love you more than words can say. But I know I will get to feel your loving bear hugs again and you are waiting to celebrate with us in heaven! So you better be sure you got that guitar in tune cause Joe will be playing bass for you. He was never to busy  to say hello and just a few months back I was at Save  Lot   Scott was there and we laoghed and talk for about 20 mints  he was the finest man  if you were down in the bumps he would make you fell better  he was a blessing I don't think Scott ever meat a stranger he loveed his family and he loved his friends you know he even helped me Carrie my groceries and helped put them in my daughters car  that was Scott    I'll smile ever time I think of him  and I will keep that day at Save A Lot in my heart  RIP my friend Go rest high on that Mountain

We are so sorry to hear this news.  I met Scott when I came to Wanda’s house to cut her hair.  Such a nice guy.  We are praying for the family.  My husband Paul worked with his sister Kim at A&E.  Just wanted the family to know that we are thinking of you and praying that GOD will send peace and comfort to you all.

I've known Scott since he was 11 and I was 15. We've been through a lot together over the years things that I'll never forget about him. I got too many memories of him. Can't believe you're gone!!! Rest easy big guy!!! I'll see you again soon love you!!!

I loved when i would come to work and you would be there joking around and clowning around with me making me laugh. Your gonna be truly missed i will never forget the night we clowned around but always made sure the job was done.
