Susan Jane (McKosky) Wells, 76, passed away on May 4, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. She lost her long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Susan was surrounded by her husband and her children as she passed peacefully.
Susan was an avid antique collector. She often enjoyed knitting prayer shawls & baby blankets for the local hospital. In her younger years, she loved to bowl and once accomplished a perfect game, joining the 300 club. Susan was a devoted sports mom for her children and was always present for their games & activities.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathryn McKosky of Mentor, OH.
She is survived by her husband of 20+ years, Jeff Wells; children, Rick Thress and wife Nadine, Kathleen Huckabee and husband David, Robb Thress and wife Veronica and Holly Tidikis and husband John; stepchildren, Ed, Becky and David; grandchildren, JT, Kylie, Sydney, Sawyer, Bailey, Emma, Avery and Jack; brother, Bill McKosky and wife Bobby Jean; sister, Nancy Starr and husband Jim Starr and her beloved dog June Jae.
A visitation was held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm.
