Thomas Callahan

A native of Mecklenburg County, he was the son of the late Charlie Allen and Hazel Lorene Gentry Callahan.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Callahan of the home; son, Tommy Callahan of High Point; daughter, April Callahan of Concord; stepson, Steve Medlin of Gastonia; brother, Doug Callahan and wife, Debbie of Harrisburg; and sister, Kathy Manus and husband, Dale of Indian Trail.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Don Callahan, Jerry Callahan; and sister, Juanita Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia with Rev. Dickie Spargo and Rev. Dale Lawing officiating.

Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
