Vertie Sue Dellinger

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Briscoe Morgan and Gladys Eve Lovelace Philbeck.

Mrs. Dellinger retired from Pharr Yarns with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Ranlo Baptist Church.

Mrs. Dellinger is survived by her husband of 36 years Paul Dellinger; three daughters, Peggy Smith and husband Ernest of Ranlo, Betty Conley of Mt. Holly, Carolyn Polson and husband Terry of Ranlo; a son Charles Willis of Mt Holly; two brothers, Wade and Edwin Philbeck both of Rutherford County; two sisters, Avis Street and Jennie Thompson both of Rutherford County; eleven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dellinger was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers Hubert, Hewitt, Chivis, Morris and Max Philbeck; a sister , Doris Stowe and a grandson Michael Lee Willis.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Ranlo Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Church.
